During its recent tour in Istanbul, the Finnova Foundation has presented the LIFE ECOdigestion 2.0 project as a leading example of good practice and role model in wastewater management.

The presentation of the project took place during a series of key events in Istanbul. On Wednesday 15 May, in the framework of the Green Mediterranean Week organised by the Union for the Mediterranean and the OECD, Finnova gave a presentation on green financing mechanisms. This event served to discuss collaborative financing for sustainability and resilience in the Mediterranean, with a focus on local impact and regional collaboration.

On Thursday 16th May, Finnova participated as a guest at the “New Mediterranean Partnership Istambul/Alicante”, a Spanish-Turkish business meeting organised by Casa Mediterráneo and the Spanish Embassy in Turkey. This meeting sought to strengthen business relations between Spain and Turkey, providing a platform for leading companies from both countries to discover new opportunities for investment and business cooperation.

These events in Istanbul have not only allowed Finnova to present the LIFE ECOdigestion 2.0 project as an example to follow in wastewater management, but also to establish key contacts and explore new synergies and opportunities for international collaboration.
