Juanma Revuelta, CEO of Finnova Foundation, participated online in the 7th edition of the Smart Agrifood Summit, held on March 14 and 15 in Seville. This prestigious event focused on innovation and digitization of the agri-food chain in Europe, is organized by the European Foundation for Innovation and Technology (INTEC).

During his participation, Juanma presented several projects, highlighting LIFE ECOdigestion 2.0 initiative to achieve new synergies for the project, considering that Agrifood waste is eligible for eco-digestion. The project epitomizes the focus to environmental sustainability by transforming organic waste into biogas, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting the use of sewage sludge from wastewater treatment processes.
 
Revuelta emphasized the crucial role of European funds in supporting pioneering projects that drive ecological transition and circular economy commitment. With a budget of €970,000, LIFE ECOdigestion 2.0 is a testament to the innovative efforts towards a greener future.
