The LIFE Program is the EU’s financing instrument within the fields of environment and climate action, created in 1992. For the 2021-2027 period, the program counts on a budget of 5.4 billion euros, which represents an increase of €1.95 billion compared to the 2014-2020 period.
Projects will be selected among those that help achieve the objectives of the European Green Deal, with further support to the EU Biodiversity Strategy and the Circular Economy Action Plan, as well as the environmental recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.
