The LIFE Programme, launched in 1992, is the only EU fund entirely dedicated to environmental and climate objectives. It has a financial envelope of 5.4 billion, which translates into 1.9 billion more as opposed to the 2014-2020 period.

In order to be selected under LIFE, projects must help meet the European Green Deal goals, support the EU Biodiversity Strategy and the Circular Economy Action Plan, and contribute to the ecological recovery after Covid-19.

LIFE ECOdigestion 2.0 will be featured during the event as a success story under LIFE on Wednesday 28 July from 09:00.
