The event took place at the Grand Luxor Hotel in Terra Mítica park and attracted prominent experts, businesses, and representatives from public institutions, all eager to explore the intersection of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in transforming the tourism sector.

The CV + i Tourism Day, promoted by key institutions of the Generalitat Valenciana and coordinated with the Network of Valencian Universities for the Promotion of R&D&I (RUVID), aimed to nurture innovative ideas that bridge scientific and technological advancements with the needs of businesses, citizens, and public administration. This initiative is essential for enhancing the quality of life in our region.
The presentation of the LIFE ECOdigestion 2.0 project, showcased its cutting-edge anaerobic digestion technology. Lola Bordás emphasized, “This project demonstrates that sustainability and tourism can go hand in hand, improving both quality of life and the environment.”
The agenda covered crucial topics for the future of tourism, including the emergence of new professional profiles sought by tourism companies, the transformative power of Valencian innovation, and the integration of Travel Tech and artificial intelligence in smart tourism.
